The Alpha Quest Youth Mentoring Program (AQYMP) is a transformative initiative aimed at middle school-aged male students. As part of the ‘Go to High School, Go to College’ national program, AQYMP focuses on academic excellence, leadership development, and cultural enrichment. Our goal is to empower young men with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed academically and personally.

Through academic support, students are encouraged to pursue higher education, understanding its critical role in personal and professional advancement. Leadership development activities help students identify their strengths and cultivate a vision for their future, fostering a sense of responsibility and accountability.

Cultural enrichment is a cornerstone of the program, offering students the chance to engage in community projects and social activities that broaden their understanding of diverse cultures. By promoting respect and appreciation for diversity, we prepare our youth to become compassionate and informed leaders of tomorrow.

The Alpha Quest Youth Mentoring Program (AQYMP) is built on three foundational pillars that guide our mission to nurture the next generation of leaders. First, Academic Support emphasizes the importance of education as a stepping stone to success. We provide resources and strategies to help young men excel in their studies and prepare for higher education. Second, Leadership Development encourages students to identify their leadership potential and develop skills that foster accountability and vision. Through engaging activities, we inspire them to become proactive leaders in their communities. Finally, Cultural Enrichment broadens students’ horizons by exposing them to diverse cultures and community projects, cultivating respect and understanding for different traditions and perspectives. Together, these pillars form a comprehensive framework that empowers our youth to thrive academically, socially, and culturally.



The impact Alpha Quest had on my son Cameron is by him being able to overcoming challenges that he faces as an autistic teenager. He has learn to speak up for himself, learn that it is good people out here that don’t mind being friends, being brothers, being role models to him just because he is different.

The impact Alpha had on my son Craig is that they has help him overcome his shyness when standing up in front of people to give a speech. I can’t think of the Brother who stood beside my son when he was saying his speech. But because of that one Brother talking to him and keeping his word to him. It made a big difference to my son.

The Alpha Quest program has been amazing to my sons Zachary and Noah. Since they joined in 2023, they are more confident and comfortable in all male spaces. Though they have several different extra curricular activities that they are involved in Alpha Quest is by far the one that they enjoy the most. From the camping trips to barbecues and also receiving a Toastmasters certificate, they’ve learned so much about themselves and how to deal with young men of the same hue. I appreciate the fact that I have a community of people that care for my children as I do.
